Rochelle Nayler - Head of Technology Solutions - NZbrokers
Rochelle has more than 30 years insurance industry experience, both in broking and in technology. In 2014 Rochelle was appointed Head of Technology Solutions for NZbrokers, New Zealand’s largest broker collective, responsible for more than $750M in Premium income. Rochelle is passionate about the use of technology as an enabler, and her current role is particularly focussed on having technology behind the scenes enabling brokers to do what they do best – give insurance and risk advice.
Mike Gardner - CIO - Ando Insurance
Mike leads the Delivery and Technology functions at Ando Insurance to help deliver on Ando’s purpose to positively impact the wellbeing of New Zealanders. Mike is also focused on making Ando the first choice for brokers and partners by creating innovative solutions to traditional challenges. After starting his career in banking at Commonwealth Bank in Australia, Mike has specialised in insurance-related technologies for most of his career. He has held consulting roles on connectivity solutions at several Australian insurers before 10 years ago realising that New Zealand was the place to be!
Dale Smith - Founder & CEO - JAVLN
Dale joined JAVLN as CEO in 2014. A chartered accountant, he has extensive experience in owning and operating medium-sized businesses. A Co-chair of InsurTechNZ, Dale is passionate about technology and how it can help New Zealand businesses improve productivity.
