Preparing for the new Privacy Law

ITP are pleased to announce a Presentation followed by a Panel Discussion, led by Jon Duffy from the Office of the Privacy Commissioner with contributions from other Privacy specialists.
Jon Duffy, Assistant Commissioner, Policy and Operations
Jon joined the Office in July 2018. Immediately prior to joining Jon was the Head of Trust and Safety at Trade Me. Jon was heavily involved in Trade Me’s introduction of transparency reporting and managed teams responsible for privacy operations, fraud investigation, compliance, intellectual property enforcement and dispute resolution. Prior to Trade Me, Jon headed up the Complaints and Investigations team at the Real Estate Agents Authority and spent a number of years as a Senior Investigator at the Commerce Commission. Jon is Deputy Chair of Netsafe and sits on the Consumer NZ and Cert NZ Establishment Advisory Boards.
