Shayne Elliott and Antonia Watson Virtual Briefing

Shayne Elliott was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) on 1 January 2016.
Shayne joined ANZ as CEO Institutional in June 2009 and in 2012 was appointed Chief Financial Officer. In this role he was responsible for all aspects of Finance as well as Group strategy, Legal, Treasury, Investor Relations and Mergers and Acquisitions.
Shayne has more than 30 years’ experience in international banking including in Australia, New Zealand, USA, UK, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
Antonia Watson is CEO of ANZ New Zealand. She has over 25 years’ experience in the professional services and financial services sector in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Australia and Hungary.
Prior to this she held roles as Managing Director of our Retail and Business Banking business and as Chief Financial Officer.
In her most recent role as MD Retail and Business Banking, Antonia was responsible for our network of retail branches, contact centres and banking specialists who take care of over two million consumer and small business customers
