DESCRIPTION:Learn why fintech is NZ’s fastest growing tech sector. \nThe 2024 Fintech Report will be a comprehensive dashboard for NZ’s fastest growing tech subsector. In 2023\, fintech became New Zealand’s largest tech subsector by total revenue earned. Homegrown fintech firms achieved combined revenue of $2.8B in 2023\, ahead of healthtech ($2.6B) and appliances ($2.0B). At current growth rates\, TIN forecasts the NZ fintech subsector will achieve revenues of $7.7B by 2028. \nOur inaugural Fintech Insights Report in 2022 quantified the economic impact of the sector; showed what success looks like; and set a benchmark to measure the sector against.
