Aotearoa gears up for biggest tech festival ever

This year’s week long festival promises to be the biggest and best ever, with nearly 480 events around the country.  Techweek’18 runs from Saturday 19 to Sunday 27 May and showcases all things tech and industry specific applications.  Major headline events include Good for the World Open Days in Auckland, 10 Billion Mouths in Tauranga, Creative Realities in Wellington and The Fourth Revolution in Christchurch.

The diverse range of events highlights how technology innovation impacts businesses and industry sectors across our economy, as well as how New Zealand increasingly impacts the world with our ability to solve global problems.

Tech starts will join prominent local and international experts, engaging with audiences ranging from industry professionals to business entrepreneurs, technology innovators, investment capitalists, multinationals, large corporates and small to medium businesses.  International delegations are visiting New Zealand to attend Techweek’18 and tour the country during festival week.

TechWeek is a great opportunity for everyone to connect, exchange, learn, be inspired and see new opportunities.  NZTech encourages our members and alliance communities to participate and promote this key event on our technology sector calendar.   Techweek is for all of us, so let’s make it the best festival ever.

A special thanks to our supporters.  Together with Facebook, Techweek sponsors include Yamaha, AUT, Trademe, IBM, KPMG, Callaghan, Fonterra, Zespri, Food Innovation Network, Lincoln Hub, WREDA, Microsoft, Designworks, Wellington City Council, WeCreate, USA Embassy, Centrality, SingularDTV, Beca, O’Halloran, NZSEG, ATEED, MinterEllisonWattsRudd, Rush Digital, Russell McVeagh, Stuff and University of Auckland Business School.
