InsurTechNZ ‘s first face to face event ‘Optimising Insurance Business Performance’ event was held at the Hilton on the 21 October. The large crowd was treated to three very insightful and informative presentations, firstly from InsurTechNZ’s Jason Roberts, who gave us an update and insight into how Insurtech businesses had pivoted and adjusted to operating within this new environment.
Next, we heard from Dale Smith, CEO of JAVLN who detailed how JAVLN had successfully transformed businesses through automation, integration, and digital customer experiences.
Neil Webster, Head of SaaS for AWS then provided us with a detailed look into various international fintech and insurtech businesses that have advanced their technology and AI with great ascendancy. The event finished with some questions from the floor facilitated by FinTechNZ’s GM, James Brown. Overall, a fantastic evening mixed with some mutually beneficial networking.
