FinTechNZ

Changing of the guard

James Brown, our Executive Director (ED), has decided to move on from the role after four and a half years. We are incredibly appreciative of all the hard work he has done as an instrumental figure in the development and growth of our FinTechNZ association and community. On behalf of existing and past Executive Council (EC) members, we wish him all the very best in his new endeavour. Fortunately we won’t be losing him entirely, as he is taking on an exciting new role out in the commercial world, in the fintech space!

The EC have been working with James on an exit plan and are pleased to announce that we have appointed a new acting ED, Jason Roberts. Many of you will know Jason from his previous role establishing and chairing InsurTechNZ. He is a passionate advocate for FinTechNZ and has been involved in the association for many years.

Jason will ensure member value and project delivery continues as we assess the future needs of the organisation.

Thanks again James, all the best, and welcome to Jason.
