RegTechNZ roundup

RegTechNZ rounds up the year with a flurry of activity, mostly behind the scenes, preparing for next year’s offerings.

However, we do have a couple of year end shout outs just in case you missed them!

Last week, Praxxis Group showed me their Opal3 reporting dashboards. Simple, clean and effective, so check them out and we look forward to working with them next year. Meanwhile, climate related disclosures aren’t going away, but a great option for smaller resourced teams is Graph Research Labs climate tracker online reporting tool.

Recently we also delved into the deep world of data and network analytics with FNA demonstrating their fraud/mule traceability as just one of their solution offerings. We also  showcased Dimension GRC and the Compliance Company in a government, risk and compliance (GRC) head to head.

And last but not least, Onwardly supported our Techweek session with its affordable security and privacy product aimed at the small to medium business market.

If you’re still looking for a stocking filler, check out this new release, FinTech Finance, Technology and Regulation. It’s an ideal reference for anyone wanting to understand the transformation of finance and the role of regulation. The authors begin with an evolutionary perspective and consider the major technologies transforming finance, arguing for approaches to balance the risks and challenges of innovation. They also address the central role of infrastructure, highlighting lessons from China, India and the European Union.
