The Changing Insurance and Innovation Landscape?
In 2017 45% of Insurance incumbent CEO’s rated changing customer behaviour and the speed of technology change as ‘extremely concerning’ with 28% believing technology will ‘completely reshape the sector’ within five years with 58% saying it will have a ‘significant impact’ (PWC).

So what does this mean for your business? If change is so important, then how do you innovate in order to meet this important challenge?

Our NZ experience clearly identifies both Incumbent organisations and Start-ups actually want to work together, but struggle to achieve effective collaboration and thus bring faster innovation across the sector. Despite the desire, the harsh reality is that effective collaboration is usually hard to achieve. InsurTechNZ is working to address this very real problem!

Sponsored by SunCorp, this ‘Bridging the Gap’ session will review international trends and identify the barriers and strategies companies can explore in order to enable effective partnering.

Presenters and Panel include:

  • Suncorp sharing their local and international insights
  • Intelligent Life sharing their perspective as a mature start-up working with incumbents.
  • Callahan’s support to the sector and
  • Practical insights from Augen Software Group on effective software enablement and integration between incumbents and early-stage companies
  • A facilitated panel session will include perspectives from :
