Our second TechTalk event of 2023 is all about Fintech!
TechTalks are your gateway to industry-leading knowledge and networking for the French and French-speaking Tech community in New Zealand.
Join us on the 29th August and gain insights from expert speakers in exclusive fireside chats on the future of Finance, the latest tech trends, innovations, and strategies shaping the finance industry. We’ll learn about Open Banking, stablecoins, security tokens, AI, and the government policies set to shape the Fintech industry globally.
Our guest speakers for this TechTalk are:
- Will Remor – Founder, Fintech Advisor, DeFi expert, Venture Investor
With a knack for spotting cutting-edge fintech startups, Will has become the go-to technologist for early-stage ventures. His focus is on global-from-day-one ventures led by ambitious founders. His expertise in investing, risk management, Web3, and data science/ML is unmatched, making him the perfect mentor for decision-makers in the DeFi, fintech, and Neobanking spaces driven by global ambitions.
- Guillaume Dehan – Founder of Supergenerous
Guillaume will share this entrepreneurial journey – from inception to making an impact for Kiwi charities – with Supergenerous, a digital service that automates the process of claiming back your charitable tax rebate and re-donate up to 33% of your past donations.
- Andrew Chambers – CEO of Tella
Andrew is a bank industry veteran, with experience in retail lending, private banking, commercial and corporate banking. His second venture as a co-founder is Tella, New Zealand’s first 100% online home loan platform. Tella is a tech-led business- which recently launched an adviser SaaS solution for home loan advisers.
This will be a unique opportunity to learn more about Fintech and network with like-minded professionals from the French and French-speaking Tech community. Note that we welcome all English speakers to this event and the fireside chats are conducted in English.
