Digital Council for Aotearoa New Zealand #weeknotes (13)

By Mitchell Pham, Chair of the Digital Council for Aotearoa New Zealand.

Stakeholder engagement

Last week was another busy one for the Digital Council.

We met with the CEO of, an organisation that has developed a platform bringing data from multiple sources together into one place. is on a mission to make data more accessible and easier to understand and to help New Zealanders use data to make better decisions. To support their mission they are developing a free data literacy platform.

We also meet with MATTR, a new organisation working to create a “web of trust,” allowing people and organisations to protect what is theirs, easily prove who they are, and share only what they need to get things done online.

MATTR have been working with and contributing to the open source community to see how fundamental digital challenges can be solved using their “web of trust” concept.

As trust is the key focus for the Digital Council this year, we look forward to visiting MATTR’s CoLab to see what they have been developing.

Media interviews
